This site is a personal portfolio. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking and has no newsletter. I collect as little personal data as possible. This policy explains what is processed, on what legal basis, and what rights you have.

When you visit this site, the hosting provider automatically records your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the referrer URL, the browser type and the operating system. This data is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, a legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation. Logs are kept only as long as needed for operation and security and are then deleted or anonymised by the hosting provider.

This site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA, acting as a processor under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Vercel delivers the site through a global network of servers, so data may be processed in the USA. Vercel is certified under the EU US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR), and Standard Contractual Clauses apply in addition (Art. 46 GDPR).

After the intro animation has played, your browser keeps one small entry in its local storage so the intro does not play again on every visit. It contains no personal data and never leaves your device. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

If you email me, your address and the content of your message are processed in order to reply. Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the contact relates to a contract or pre contractual steps, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Correspondence is deleted once it is no longer needed and no retention obligation applies.

Fonts are served from this server, so no connection is made to Google Fonts. Images and videos are hosted on this site and not embedded from third party platforms.

The case studies link to live demo apps, also hosted by Vercel. They need no login and keep everything you enter in your own browser. Nothing you type there is sent to me.

This site links to my LinkedIn profile. No data is sent to LinkedIn when you visit this site. Only when you click the link does your browser connect to LinkedIn, whose own privacy policy then applies.

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21). To use any of these rights, email contact@csz.design.

If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you can complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40 bis 42, 1030 Vienna, dsb@dsb.gv.at.
